Huge 2nd Half Pushes ORU Over St. Thomas 88-66

The ORU Golden Eagles rallied in the second half on Saturday, outscoring St. Thomas (MN) 54-30 after halftime in route to a 88-66 victory at the Mabee Center.

2021 March Madness phenom Max Abmas struggled from the field against the Tommies, finishing with 10 points (4-15, 2-8 from 3) 8 assists and 2 rebounds. The Golden Eagles got a spark off the bench from senior forward Elijah Lufile, who scored 25 points on 14 shots while bringing down 13 rebounds. Lufile was red-hot, missing only 3 field goal attempts and sinking 3 of 4 free throws.

The St. Thomas Tommies were carried by Senior forward Parker Bjorkland, who led the team in points (25), rebounds (6) and field goal attempts (23).

ORU has the week off and looks to play Kansas City in Tulsa next Saturday, February 12.
