Police Seek Help Identifying Man Wanted In Connection With Assault Of TPD Officer

Police are asking for help identifying a man wanted in connection with assaulting a TPD officer.

Tulsa police shared a photograph of the man with News On 6.

According to police, the man was at a protest outside the federal courthouse on Monday.

Police say when the officer asked the protestors to move their cars from blocking the street and sidewalk several people surrounded the officer and attacked him.

According to police, the injured officer has a torn ACL, torn meniscus and a fracture to his leg.

Police say they arrested two others who will face federal charges.
