A professional boxer and Tulsa native who is fighting this weekend is helping to fight bullying.
Jeremiah Milton spoke with Charles Page High School's football team about looking out for each other and those who are being picked on.
"It's very inspiring man you know, because I'm looking at them and I just remember what it was like whenever I was in that position," Milton said.
Milton said this cause hits home because he was also bullied growing up.
He's 5-0 with four knockouts, but even he said sometimes the hardest fights are outside the ring.
"Bullying manifested in me in different ways you know," Milton said. "It's not always the physical 'let me just take your lunch.' It's so many things in today's climate you know."
Charles Page head coach, Bobby Klinck, said these talks are vital for team culture building and hopes the players can take on and off the field.
Players like Linebacker Drake Fain said they heard the message loud and clear.
"I think I'll start looking out for that kind of stuff," Fain said. "When you see it tell kids to cut it out. Don't let any hazing happen around here."
"We try to run that in our program a lot," Klinck said. "We're trying to raise good men here who are going to be out in the world to be leaders in the community."
Milton will be fighting Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Hard Rock Casino where he looks to improve to 6-0.
