Woman Arrested, Accused Of Stalking By Broken Arrow Police

Broken Arrow Police arrested a woman who they say harassed her neighbors while posing as a different neighbor.

An arrest report for Sara Bennett created fake accounts on a website that partners with the City of Broken Arrow to anonymously report code violations.

According to documents, say Bennett was posing as a neighbor and that neighbor's son, which led other neighbors to file protective orders against the victim. The report says that Bennett also bought a phone number from a third-party website to impersonate the victim and her son and threatened neighbors over text.

The report says that officers arrested the victim at first for violating protective orders, but then learned she and her son were not involved. Police eventually traced the harassment back to Bennett and arrested her on several counts of stalking and false impersonation.
