Jacket Caused Motorcycle Crash That Sent Rider To Hospital, OHP Says

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is blaming a jacket for a motorcycle crash on the Will Rogers Turnpike Sunday evening that sent the rider to the hospital in critical condition.

It happened just after 5 p.m. on I-44 west of Miami.

Troopers say the rider's leather jacket got tangled in the rear wheel and belt drive, causing him to lose control and crash.

They say the rider, who has not been identified, was not wearing a helmet.
