Local Brewery Expands Business To New Downtown Tulsa Location

A new business is coming to the building that once housed the Prairie Brewpub downtown, and it's a familiar name for many people in Tulsa.

The owners of the Cabin Boys Brewery bought the space and are excited to serve lunch and dinner along with their signature beers. 

Cabin Boys, located near East 11th Street and South Utica Avenue, is in their fifth year of business and chose to celebrate by expanding.

The 5,600 square foot facility also has an outdoor area, and there are plans to add more seating.

Owners Lisa McIlroy and her husband said they plan to have 20 beers on tap and three to four draft cocktails.

McIllroy said they're excited to open up a bigger place.

"Honestly, the opportunity kind of presented itself,'' Mclllroy said. “We just kind of started seeking out existing locations that already had kitchens built in and that space has been sitting empty for the past two years since COVID so it was cool to get into that space."

McIlroy said their Claremore location will open in the next couple of weeks, and they plan to have the downtown location ready by the spring.
