Donkey Basketball Raises Money For Rogers County Adult Day Care

A unique game of basketball is raising money for a good cause and it involves donkeys.

Four Players from each team had to shoot hoops while riding a donkey.

The first matchup was between Rogers County law enforcement and local firefighters.

The second game was between RSU and Claremore High School.

The Rogers County Adult Day Care holds this fundrasier every year and says this was their biggest one yet.

"We can't be happier with the turnout we've had this year. It surpassed everything we've done so far and this will be our largest fundrasier of the five years," said Joe Holehan, from Rogers County Adult Day Care.

The adult daycare serves seniors and adults with special needs.

Some of the money raised will go toward building a walking track and pavillion at the facility.
