National Day Of Prayer Service To Honor Lives Of 6 Found Dead On Property Near Henryetta

A community-wide National Day of Prayer service is taking place on Thursday to honor the lives of six murder victims. 

The service comes after Father Robert Duck and Pastor Nathan Heckle led prayers on Wednesday night at their churches.

They say their members are asking questions and looking for peace and comfort.

One parent, Shane Hott, has two daughters at Henryetta Middle School and says parents are holding their kids closer as they remember their classmates who were killed.

The service is taking place at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the Gazebo at the Henryetta Territorial Museum.
