Broken Arrow public schools and the local fire department are showing students what it is like to be a firefighter.
Students got hands-on training for different firefighting scenarios as part of the district's 'Project Pathways' program, which connects students to local businesses, so they can learn about different careers.
"We are trying to expose them to everything they could see in the day-to-day life of a firefighter so they can make the career choice that's right for them," said Broken Arrow Fire Chief Jeremy Moore.
The Broken Arrow Fire Department says it would love to hire people who grew up in the City.
