Oklahoma Town Honor Veterans With Memorial Wall; Remembering Lives Cut Short

This Memorial Day, we reflect and honor the brave men and women who have fought for our country, but who never made it home.

Clearview, Oklahoma, remembers its veterans with a memorial wall, recognizing men from the town who served.

Alpheus Grundy's brother Anthony is one of the recognized veterans, and Alpheus says it's painful that his life was cut short.

"He was 19 when he got killed. It hurts me but I don't like to talk about it because I don't know why a man would kill someone else on account of war," Alpheus said.

Alpheus and other veterans hope the men lost at war are never forgotten, and say they'll work to honor their legacy the rest of their lives.
