Whether you're interested in ice skating or light shows, theater or shopping, there's something for everyone to enjoy this holiday season in Downtown Tulsa.
6 new bus stops are popping up downtown for a jolly ride through the Greenwood, Tulsa arts, and Deco districts.
"We want to connect the downtown districts physically as best as we can, and something we came up with was the Downtown Tulsa Jingle bus," said Morgan Phillips, the Director of Marketing and Experience.
The jingle bus will run on a 30-minute loop and Morgan says the bus was created so people only have to park once and still easily get around downtown.
"Parking can be hard to find depending on who you ask, and it's cold during the winter months, so I think this will be a great way for people to come out and experience downtown Tulsa during the holiday season in a new way," she said.
The bus is free of charge and will make stops at different places like Greenwood and Archer, The Boxyard, and 6th and Boston.
"Somebody can hop on at one stop, ride until they get to another stop. Maybe they want to do dinner and a show, or they want to go ice skating,” Morgan said. “They can plan their day basically by parking their car somewhere, not having to get that out and move and find parking multiple times, but they can just use our Jingle Bus to hop on and ride to the next stop."
The Jingle Bus will run starting this Friday at 5 o'clock and will be in use on Thursdays through Sundays through the new year.
