A man accused of shooting at a Tulsa Police helicopter has been arrested and identified.

Tulsa Police said Bryce Hubbard fired shots near 5800 N. Garrison around 1 a.m. on Monday.

The TPD helicopter, which was already nearby, responded to the scene and observed Hubbard exit his vehicle, enter a field and shoot at the chopper.

Officers on the ground arrived at the scene and arrested Hubbard. They recovered a pistol and shell casings, TPD said.

After inspection, police said it does not appear the police helicopter was hit by bullets.

Hubbard is arrested for two counts of shooting with intent to kill, carrying a firearm while intoxicated and reckless handling of a firearm.
