Former Tulsa Police Officer Facing Additional Charges

A former Tulsa Police Officer set to stand trial for first-degree rape is facing new charges.

Deangelo Reyes was charged last year with first-degree rape, which prosecutors say happened while he was on duty in March of that year.

Tulsa Police say detectives found more instances of Reyes using his position to sexually exploit people and another victim.

Reyes is now facing a charge of forcible sodomy in addition to the original rape charge.

He was arrested and is being held on a $50,000 bond.

The Special Victims Unit says the investigation is ongoing.
