The southbound lanes of Highway 97 are back open in Sand Springs following a train derailment on Wednesday.
Sand Springs Police said it happened around 9:45 a.m. near the Chick-fil-A.
By 2 p.m., all lanes were back open, police said.
Motorists were diverted onto Morrow Road and then Main Street to bypass the scene.
Police confirmed that there were no injuries from the derailment and there was no ongoing hazard to the public.
Officials tell News On 6 that 'ground saturation' caused the derailment. The train had 16 cars and the four that were derailed were carrying coal.
