Tulsa Police are asking for help finding a man accused of trying to rob a victim in a Burger King drive-thru.

Police say the robber had a knife and cut the victim more than once.

Police say this happened at the Burger King near Admiral and 165th East Avenue on January 5 around 6 a.m.

"Randomly approaching a citizen as he's getting breakfast on his way to work, runs up to him, give me your wallet," said Lt. Justin Ritter, head of Tulsa's robbery unit.

The video shows the man pulling up next to the victim, who was waiting in the drive-thru.

"Kind of hits the car to distract the driver, suspect runs around to the driver side, threatens the driver, says hey give me your money," he said.

He says the victim hit the robber in the face, and that's when he pulled out a knife.

"The driver, of course, he's kind of stunned, he kind of resists, puts his hands up, the suspect ends up trying to assault him with a knife, ends up stabbing him, cuts the webbing of his hand, I believe he had a cut to his shoulder," he said.

Ritter says the robber got in his car and drove off.

He says the car looks like it's a red Toyota without hubcaps.

If you recognize the car and have any information, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 918-596-COPS.
