News On 6 Anchor Tess Maune Reads To Disney Elementary Students

Schools across Oklahoma are celebrating Read Across America week to encourage and promote reading.

Disney Elementary School’s librarian invited News On 6 Anchor Tess Maune to stop by and read to some of the students.

In honor of Dr. Suess, Tess read Horton Hears a Who! It's full of rhymes and tongue twisters, and ultimately some nice life lessons.

Tess also read one of her favorites, The Adventures of Biss and Olee, about the real life duck and dog best friends in Broken Arrow.

Tess said it was a great group of students. They're wonderful listeners and very polite!
