Bowman And Stutsman Named To Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team

University of Oklahoma seniors Billy Bowman Jr. and Danny Stutsman have been named to the 2024 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Football First Team. They were also selected for the Preseason Media All-SEC First Team and appear on several preseason watch lists, including for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Chuck Bednarik Award, and Senior Bowl.

Bowman, an AP Preseason All-America Second Team pick, led the nation last season with 238 interception return yards and three pick-sixes. He set school records for interception yardage and pick-sixes and earned first-team All-America honors from CBS Sports/247Sports. Over his career, he has tallied 145 tackles, nine interceptions, and 11 pass breakups.

Stutsman, a first-team preseason All-America by Walter Camp Foundation, The Athletic, and ESPN, led the Sooners in tackles for the past two years. In 2023, he recorded 104 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and three sacks, earning second-team All-America honors from the Walter Camp Foundation and third-team from the AP. He has accumulated 267 tackles and 28 tackles for loss, the most among current Sooners.
