The Oklahoma City Thunder are in Tulsa Thursday night for a preseason game with a team from New Zealand. They are two weeks away from the start of the regular season.
It's preseason game number 3 for the Thunder: a win at San Antonio, followed by Wednesday night's loss at home in overtime to Houston. Thursday marks the annual stop at the BOK Center.
The core of the Thunder remains the same—Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren—but some veteran additions are giving OKC more versatility. That's something Aaron Wiggins talked about after the game Wednesday night.
The opponent is the New Zealand Breakers, who have been around for two decades and play in Australia's National Basketball League. The Breakers lost by 55 points at Philadelphia on Monday. Tipoff is set for 7.
