Tulsa Mayor Bill LaFortune made it official Thursday; he is running for re-election.

The mayor held a new conference Thursday morning to say that he will seek a second term in office. He says he is looking forward to finishing the projects started under his current term.

In August, city councilor Chris Medlock announced he would also run for mayor.
