Tulsa's Kendall-Whittier neighborhood near downtown is making a comeback.

A special groundbreaking was held Thursday for the nine homes that will be built near the 4th and Lewis area. City officials hope the infill development will bring renewed life and revitalization to the area.

The new homes will be patterned after the Craftsman style homes that already exist in the neighborhood. Broker Teresa O'Rourke: "Smooth walls, 9 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, rear entry garages and outdoor living area."

They'll range in price from $115,000 to $150,000.
