Boy injured by Haskell County school bus

(Keota-AP) -- A 12-year-old boy is recovering after a school bus ran over his legs in southeastern Haskell County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Bishop Austin was treated for leg injuries at a Stigler hospital, then released.

Troopers say the boy was getting off the bus near Keota and tried to hang onto the side of the bus. Troopers say he fell as the bus began moving and it ran over his legs.
