Some Oklahoma veterans are reaching out to help all those who've worn the country's uniform.

Members of the Disabled American Veterans want all veterans to be aware of the benefits they're entitled to. To draw attention, they're pushing a wheelchair down Route 66 this month.

Veteran Dennis Parrott: "Route 66 is the mother road and for eight decades it has carried veterans to and from a couple of wars."

Dennis and the others will be pushing the chair down Route 66 through May 21st. For more information, their website is www.dav.org.
