A judge has ordered Effie Goodson to stand trial for the deaths of a woman and her fetus. Goodson is charged with shooting Carolyn Simpson to death and killing Simpson's unborn child.
Prosecutors allege Goodson shot Simpson once in the head, then cut the fetus from her body. Investigators say Goodson told them she was giving Simpson a ride home from work.
Goodson is scheduled for arraignment on June 15th. Prosecutors will ask for the death penalty.
