A hawk grounded in Oklahoma City due to the ice storm is free again. WildCare released the bird back into the wild Sunday.
Linda Powell with the Bethel Foundation said she found the hawk at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday in Oklahoma City. It was alive, but its wings were frozen and couldn't fly.

She took the hawk to Animal Control officials, who said the hawk also had a broken wing. They took him into rehabilitation before setting him free.
Powell said Animal Control also told her that this breed of hawk was not from this part of the country.
