The cause of this fire is currently unknown.
However, firefighters do say by the time they got the scene the home was fully engulfed, and the fire was already starting to move to other nearby buildings.
A neighbor, Dylan Murch, was the one who called 911.
He tells News 9 he and other neighbors did everything they could to save the children, but the fire quickly became too much.
"They seem like a good family, the kids are always out in the yard playing and for this to happen puts a big tragic touch on our community," said Murch. "We all try to look out for one another."
According to the Crescent Fire Department, the parents were taken to a local church for time to mourn and process what happened.
As for the investigation, the state fire marshal will be taking over the scene.
