Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. Tests Positive For COVID-19

Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. says he has tested positive for COVID-19 after showing symptoms over the weekend.

Chief Hoskin says that because he is fully vaccinated, he does not expect to go to the hospital. Chief Hoskin also said that he is taking an anti-viral medication.

Chief Hoskin says he hopes to be well enough to attend Cherokee National Holiday this weekend and give his State of the Nation address.
