SAPULPA, OK -- An overnight fire destroys a Creek County home late Monday.
Sapulpa firefighters say a homeowner noticed his house was strangely dark around 10:30 p.m. Monday. But when he opened the front door, the fire sparked.
The home is located 81st Street and 177th West Avenue.
Firefighters had to carry water from a hydrant that was nearly a full mile away.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
