TULSA, OKLAHOMA -- Tulsa Police worked a number of car crashes late Wednesday night which appeared to be weather related.

Police say a driver struck a 15-year-old girl as she was walking across the road outside the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa at 11 p.m. Wednesday.

The teen was treated at the scene and released.

Police think low visibility at the time of the accident played a role.

A power outage near 31st Street South and 90th East Avenue in Tulsa knocked out traffic signals at the intersection which police say then contributed to a crash at that intersection.

Police officers say one of the drivers involved in the accident told them he had a few beers and didn't see the car in front of him.

That driver and two passengers were taken to a Tulsa hospital to be checked out.

And Tulsa Police believe heavy rain was a factor in a single car-accident on state Highway 11 east of Cincinnati at 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say a car was heading west on the highway when another car passed, startling the driver of the first car. He told officers that caused him to swerve and lose control.

The car crossed the median and then across the eastbound lanes where it struck a light pole and continued down an embankment.

There were three people in the car. No one was hurt.
