Phillips 66 Returns To Fortune 500 List After 2012 Spin-Off

Phillips 66 which was spun off by ConocoPhillips in 2012 was ranked 4th, its first year back on the list. ConocoPhillips had held the fourth spot last year.

Three Oklahoma companies made this year's list of Fortune's 500 companies. Chesapeake Energy, Devon Energy and Williams are ranked, 223, 284 and 342 respectively.

The top ten include Walmart, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, Phillips 66, Berkshire Hathaway, Apple, GM, GE, Valero Energy and Ford.

Phillips 66 which was spun off by ConocoPhillips in 2012 was ranked 4th, its first year back on the list.  ConocoPhillips had held the fourth spot last year.

Phillips 66 is the refining arm of the energy giant and has a large presence in Bartlesville.

AMR was 121st on the list and US Airways Group was ranked 199.

Chesapeake Energy ranking of 223 was up 6 notches from 2012.  Devon Energy was ranked 232 in 2012 and fell to 284 in 2013. Both Chesapeake and Devon are based in Oklahoma City.  And Williams, based in Tulsa dropped from 325 in 2012 to 342 this year.
