Police: Teen Wounded During Shootout At Tulsa Apartment Complex
TULSA, Oklahoma - A Tulsa teenager was found shot several times late Sunday at a North Tulsa apartment complex.
Tulsa Police got the call of shots fired at around 11:45 p.m. at the Towne Square apartments in the 1600 block of East Young Street.
Officers say when they arrived, they found the 19-year-old teenager inside an apartment, shot several times. They believe he was wounded during a shootout in the complex's parking lot, then ran to the apartment.
Police say several witnesses told them the shooter left complex in an unknown vehicle before officers arrived.
EMSA took the teen to a hospital. Police say the wounds are not believed to be life threatening.
