Two southbound and one of northbound lane of Highway 169 near 36th Street North were closed for about an hour as crews cleaned up from an overturned truck.
A concrete truck carrying Portland cement crashed after a tire blowout. The driver was northbound on the highway when the tire blew. It jumped the center barrier and overturned onto the southbound lanes.
No other vehicles were involved, and the driver was not injured.
Tulsa Police say southbound traffic was diverted onto the shoulder while crews swept up the mess and removed the truck.
There was cement all over the road, and workers had to be careful cleaning up to avoid breathing it in. Southbound traffic was backed up for miles.
