White Pizza With Fresh Spinach, Bacon & Tomato
1 Italian cheese-flavored thin pizza crust, pre-cooked or make your own pizza crust.
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 tablespoons pesto with basil
½ cup shredded fresh mozzarella cheese
½ cup parmesan cheese
½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1 cup fresh spinach
½ cup sliced small tomatoes
¼ teaspoon black pepper
-Preheat broiler to high and place a baking sheet in the oven for 10 minutes
-Brush the crust with olive oil
-Spread the pesto evenly over the crust, leaving a 1-inch border. Pesto is made with basil, olive oil, garlic, and walnuts or pine nuts
-Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the pesto.
-Next, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly
-Sprinkle bacon over cheeses
-Slide crust onto the preheated baking sheet and broil for 5 minutes or until cheese begins to melt
-Remove from oven. Top evenly with fresh spinach, tomatoes, and black pepper. Slice and serve immediately.
