Union Public School officials say overcrowding at several of the district's elementary schools has the district looking at making changes for this fall.
The school board will consider the changes at its meeting Monday.
In a news release the district says it looked at several options with the goal of moving the fewest number of students possible and maximizing classroom space throughout the district.
The option set for board consideration calls for students in the following housing additions/apartments to change next year:
Officials say the changes will impact fewer than 200 students and relieve overcrowding at Clark and McAulifee elementary schools. In addition, Rosa Parks Elementary will get students from Clark Elementary and have some students move over to Peters Elementary.

Officials hope these changes will decrease overcrowding until the district can build an additional elementary school.
Union's school board meeting is at 7 p.m. at the district's Education Service Center at 8506 East 61st Street.
