OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals upheld the first-degree murder convictions and life sentences of two men in the 2011 shooting death of a Fort Gibson teenager.

The court on Monday rejected appeals by 22-year-old Tommy Lee Dean Jr. and 21-year-old Fredrick Watson in the shooting death of 17-year-old Ryan Satterfield. The court upheld both the convictions and sentences of life in prison with the possibility of parole given to Dean and Watson.

The two men were among six people convicted in Satterfield's death. Troy Dufur received 20 years with 10 years suspended and Jordan and Martin Miller were given 30 years with 15 years suspended. Deandre Clark was sentenced to life in prison.

Investigators say Satterfield was killed during a home invasion robbery the day before Thanksgiving.
