Tulsa Job Connection Opens Doors, Helps Those Seeking Employment

Folks hoping to land a job have new help in midtown Tulsa. Goodwill Industries held a ribbon cutting Tuesday for its second Tulsa Job Connection.

Folks hoping to land a job have new help in midtown Tulsa. Goodwill Industries held a ribbon cutting Tuesday for its second Tulsa Job Connection.

It provides free services for people on the job hunt.

Job coaches there help people developing their resumes, networking and finding job leads.

The manager of Job Connection, Stacey Cole, said the new location is in the middle of an untapped resource.

"All the resources are here. The people are here. A segment of the community that are really looking for a job are here, they just need someone to come in and help get them connected," he said.

Goodwill has already helped over 600 people find employment this year.
