TULSA COUNTY, Oklahoma - Fire destroyed a home Sunday night near Highway 75 north of Tulsa, but the family and its pet pig made it out safely.

Firefighters from Sperry and Owasso were called to the 5400 block of East 94th Street North at about 11:30 p.m.

A couple and their granddaughter and the family's pet pig made it out safely, but firefighters said the fire destroyed the home and three cars in the garage.   Fire officials say one of the grandparents suffered minor burns but was treated at the scene.

Firefighters say it appears the fire started in the garage, but investigators are still working to figure out the cause.

The family is staying with neighbors until they can move into a trailer located on the property.
