CREEK COUNTY, Oklahoma - A grass fire sparked in the persistent dry conditions and high winds Monday in Creek County. News On  6 storm spotter Darren Stephens reported on a fire about five miles south of Bristow  and about a mile east of Highway 48.

A Bristow fire truck got stuck while trying to get to the fire and had to be protected.

Firefighters were able to save homes in the rural Creek County area.
