Police Identify Teen Suspect Killed In Tulsa Home Invasion
TULSA, Oklahoma - Police released the name of teen stabbed to death during a home invasion in Tulsa late Monday.
Investigators say the teen was 16-year-old Demondray Porter.
The incident happened at the Woodland Oaks Apartments in the 7200 block of South 90th East Avenue around 11:15 p.m. Police said Porter and a 14-year-old armed with a handgun entered an apartment and confronted a man and woman.
They said the woman's brother showed up and surprised the suspects and he and the victims fought the two teens.
Sergeant Dave Walker said the woman grabbed a knife and fatally stabbed Porter.
He said the 14-year-old was held down outside the apartment until police arrived. Police arrested him on complaints of murder and armed robbery.
