By lunch time Saturday, rain chances will primarily be south of the Tulsa metro and by late this afternoon most if not all of the showers and storms will be gone.
Any lingering showers will be in southeastern Oklahoma.
Highs today in the mid 80s. Cooler to the south of Tulsa where cloud cover will stick around longer. We are expecting sunshine later today and mostly fair skies tonight.
Temperatures will cool significantly tonight with drier air and mostly fair skies. Here in Tulsa we’ll be around 60 but surrounding areas can easily cool into the upper 50s.
A few low-lying areas and valleys Sunday morning could have patchy fog develop. In the afternoon, light winds from the east and mostly sunny skies. Highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Moisture will return on Monday as high pressure at the surface moves off to the east. We’ll have a slight chance of showers and storms on Monday and then with an upper level system nearby rain chances will continue for much of next week.
Our next cool front looks to come in on Thursday. This time the cool front is expected to stall out in Oklahoma and that will continue rain chances into Friday.
