Police Investigating After Body Found In Tulsa Apartment
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa police are investigating after a body was found in an apartment complex Monday night.
According to police, officers responded to a complex near 61st and Memorial just after 8:00 p.m. in reference to a shooting.
When they arrived, officers said they knocked on the door and spoke with someone inside the unit.
Homicide sergeant Dave Walker is on the scene and said there was a body in the complex with a gunshot to the head.
Walker said the person claiming to own the apartment is in custody and being questioned.
The sergeant said they don’t know much else at the moment. Walker said they are waiting for a search warrant to search the crime scene.
The name of the victim has not been released, but Walker said the victim is likely in his early 20s.
Walker said, right now, the relationship between the two men is unknown.
