Elite bicyclists from around the world are in Broken Arrow to compete in the 7th annual Ruts n' Guts - an off-road bicycle competition called cyclocross.

The race challenges riders on a course through Broken Arrow's Chisholm Trail Park.

Riders from the amateur to pro level will have to push through sand traps and pedal up flyovers.

Race director, Tanner Culbreath said, "We have some world-class athletes, sort of the ‘NFL of bike riding’ if you will. The guys you see on TV, but you're going to be right up next to."

Ruts n' Guts kicks off Saturday morning and runs through Sunday.

If you want to watch, there's a craft brew festival going on in the middle of the course.
