Okmulgee County Chief Deputy Arrested For Aggravated Assault
OKMULGEE COUNTY, Oklahoma - Okmulgee County Chief Deputy Robert Heath has been arrested.
Heath turned himself in shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday at the Tulsa County jail.
Prosecutors charged Heath with aggravated assault and robbery.
The sheriff's office says Robert Heath is on administrative leave right now.
The sheriff says his arrest is in response to a assault that did not happen in Okmulgee County and is not related to his position.
