Police say the driver of a pickup involved in an early Monday rollover crash northwest of Tulsa ran off before emergency personnel arrived. Tulsa Police say they were called to the crash around 1:45 a.m.

A red Ford F-150 pickup was southbound on 41st West Avenue at Apache when the driver failed to make a curve. The curve has a history of crashes over the years.

The truck rolled several times and came to rest on its tires in a pasture. Along the way everything that was in the bed of the truck - including a camper shell - separated from the vehicle.

A couple of nearby residents heard the wreck and went to it, according to TPD. They found a male driver who told them not to call police. He then took off into the woods on foot and was never found.

Police said the truck checks to an address in Edmond.
