A man is in jail after police say he robbed three people back to back then led officers on a chase through Tulsa.
Tulsa Police said it all happened in just a couple hours Thursday morning, starting with an armed robbery call around 10 near 21st and 129th east avenue. Then around 11:05, officers responded to a similar robbery at Walmart with a matching suspect and vehicle description.
Around 11:20, an officer caught the suspect running to his car after another robbery at the Walgreens at 71st and Sheridan. That's when he took off.
The chase ended in a cul-de-sac near 34th and Garnett where police say he ran into a parked car and then rammed an officer’s car. Joshua Shamlin was arrested after trying to run.
Police say Shamlin will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon after ramming an officer along with several counts of robbery.
