ADAIR COUNTY, Oklahoma - The manhunt for a man accused of shooting two people in Adair County is over.

In a post on the Adair County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, deputies found 23-year-old Shawn Rose hiding in a highway culvert near Proctor.

He's accused of shooting two people Monday night near the town of Christie, that is about 20 miles east of Tahlequah. Both victims are stable in the hospital.

Shawn Rose was booked into the Adair County jail on complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

The Facebook post also thanked area law enforcement for their help in the search and arrest of Rose.
