Habitat For Humanity Brings Security To Tulsa Family
TULSA, Oklahoma - A Tulsa family has a new home for the holidays thanks in part to Habitat For Humanity.
As part of the 6 Days of Christmas, members of the News On 6 weather team had the opportunity to be there with Habitat for Humanity as a home was dedicated to the Drake Family.
"It was an awesome time to see their family and also to add a little bit of flavor for the Christmas season," said Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer.
Mike Grogan and Stormtracker Von Castor added some Christmas cheer to the home by decorating the family's first Christmas tree in the new home.
The Drake family will have the security and stability of a Habitat for Humanity home. And the girls got to tour a stormtracker's truck.
