Multiple Cities Issue Safer At Home Orders

Several cities have adopted Safer at Home orders this week, but Tahlequah’s curfew is the most strict policy so far. The curfew went into effect at midnight, forcing essential businesses--except hospitals--to close between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Owasso’s City Council voted Wednesday to implement a Safer at Home order, and it went into effect at midnight.

Mental Health Counselors See Increase In Therapy Demand Due To Coronavirus (COVID-19) Concerns

The president of Improving Lives Counseling Services said their teletherapy numbers skyrocketed in the past week because of how COVID-19 is impacting so many people. For more information, click here. 

Tulsa City-County Library To Hold Virtual Story Time

 Tulsa Transit Starts New Rules Due To Coronavirus (COVID-19) Concerns

Tulsa Transit said the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has the company adjusting its bus routes starting Monday and updating some of its bus rules to fit guidelines from the CDC and World Health Organization. for more information, click here. 

Gathering Place Launches Gathering Place TV

Starting Monday, Tulsa's Gathering Place is launching a new service call Gathering Place TV. It will feature virtual story times, educational material, and even songs. You can find more information here.

Flu Vaccines

The health department said you can get the flu vaccine on a walk-in basis Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Tulsa Health Department locations below:

  • Central Regional Health Center | 315 S. Utica, Tulsa, OK
