One Dead After Auto-Pedestrian Crash on WB I-40 Near Downtown

OHP Troopers are investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian accident on I-40 westbound near Western Avenue in the downtown area. 

The crash occurred sometime around 5 a.m.

Police have identified the deceased pedestrian as 26-year-old Larry Johnson of Moore.

The crash caused major backups in traffic as crews worked the scene. I-40 westbound was closed from Western to Penn Avenue.
