The first notices have been sent to uninsured drivers who were flagged by a new statewide verification program.

But some drivers caught by the cameras argue they do have insurance.
"We did not expect to encounter so many Oklahomans who have their vehicles personally registered to themselves but insured via commercial policy and by law commercial policies are not reported to the insurance date base," said Prosecutor Amanda Arnall.
The District Attorney's Council said its meeting this week to look for a solution.
