Catching Uninsured Oklahoma Drivers
The state says its new license plate scanning system has already found more than 2,000 uninsured drivers in Oklahoma since November 1st.

The state says its new license plate scanning system has already found more than 2,000 uninsured drivers in Oklahoma since November 1st.
The mobile cameras can identify those drivers by matching their license plate with a database of insured drivers.

Drivers who don't have insurance are fined $174 will have to get insurance for the next 2 years or face criminal charges.
